aosu Video Bounty – Program Details & Terms

The aosu Video Bounty Program invites aosu users to submit video clips captured by their aosu cameras for potential feature on aosu social media channels.

Everyday moments are welcome. Submissions do not need to be extraordinary — authentic footage captured through normal use is encouraged.

1. How to Submit

To submit a clip:

1. Download the original video directly from the “Event” recordings within the aosu app.

2. Submit your video using one of the following methods:

• Post on the aosu Community website (https://community.aosulife.com/)
• Create a new topic with the tag #Video Bounty
• Upload the full-sized, unedited video file
• A diagram will be provided
• Submit via email
• Send the full-sized, unedited video file to videobounty@aosulife.com

Submissions must:

• Be original footage captured by your aosu device
• Include the original aosu watermark
• Not be edited, altered, AI-generated, or modified

Users may submit multiple clips over time; however, spam or excessive low-quality submissions may result in disqualification.

2. Acceptance & Base Compensation

If your clip is accepted into the program, you will receive:

$20 USD per accepted clip

If your submission is accepted, we will notify you by email and process payment.

Acceptance grants aosu the usage rights described in Section 5 below.

Acceptance does not guarantee that the clip will receive a standalone feature post.

aosu is under no obligation to use any clips submitted, whether or not accepted.

3. Exclusive Feature Post & Engagement Bonus

After acceptance, aosu may choose to create a standalone social media post that directly features your single clip (the “Exclusive Feature Post”).

• aosu will decide whether to create an Exclusive Feature Post within 10 days of acceptance.
• Not all accepted clips will receive an Exclusive Feature Post.

Only the designated Exclusive Feature Post is eligible for engagement-based bonus compensation.

Engagement Bonus Structure

If your clip receives an Exclusive Feature Post, you may receive additional bonus payments based on the number of likes that post receives within 14 days of posting.

Engagement is calculated as:

Total likes received within 14 days from the posting date

Bonus thresholds (maximum total payout per clip: $100 USD including base reward):

• Accepted clip: $20
• 20 likes: +$20
• 50 likes: +$20
• 100 likes: +$20
• 150 likes: +$20

Total maximum payout per clip is capped at $100 USD.

If a post is published on multiple platforms, only the platform with the highest like count will be used to determine the bonus. Likes will not be combined across platforms.

Bonus payment will begin processing within 5 days after the 14-day engagement period ends.

Bonus payments will be distributed via a method determined by aosu (e.g., bank transfer, PayPal).

You are responsible for any fees associated with the chosen payment method as well as applicable taxes.

aosu reserves sole discretion in determining engagement authenticity and final bonus eligibility.

4. Reuse & Non-Bonus Usage

Accepted clips may be:

• Reposted
• Edited
• Combined with other clips
• Included in compilations
• Used in future organic social media posts

Any usage other than the designated Exclusive Feature Post is not eligible for engagement-based bonuses.

Only one Exclusive Feature Post per accepted clip may qualify for bonus consideration.

5. Usage Rights

By submitting a clip and receiving acceptance, you

(i) grant aosu a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable, royalty-free license to:

• Use, reproduce, communicate, repost, and distribute the clip across aosu-owned social media channels
• Edit, crop, modify, or adapt the clip, add captions, overlays, or music to the clip, or combine the clip with other content
• Create derivative works for organic social media use

and,

(ii) solely subject to Section 6 below, irrevocably waive the benefits of all (other than the right to claim authorship) moral rights and performers’ rights arising under the laws of any jurisdiction.

This license applies to organic use only. Paid advertising use requires a separate agreement.

Ownership of the original clip remains with the submitter.

6. Attribution

If you would like to be credited, include your preferred handle in your submission email.

If no attribution is provided, aosu may post the clip without credit.

7. Eligibility & Geographic Limitations

Participation may be subject to geographic restrictions and applicable laws. aosu reserves the right to determine eligibility at its discretion.

8. Program Integrity

Submissions must:

• Be authentic and original
• Not infringe on third-party rights
• Comply with all applicable laws

aosu reserves the right to:

• Remove posts at any time
• Reject any submission at aosu's sole discretion
• Withhold unpaid bonuses if violations are discovered
• Disqualify participants for manipulated engagement (for example, bot activity or purchased likes), stolen content, or abuse
• Block users who repeatedly submit spam or low-quality content

9. Program Modifications

aosu reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Video Bounty Program at any time, including adjustments to reward structure or participation rules.

10. Privacy & Permissions

By participating in the Video Bounty Program, you acknowledge that aosu may collect and use your personal information (such as your name, email address, and payment details) solely for purposes of administering the program, communicating with you, and processing payments.

Your personal information will not be publicly displayed unless you specifically request attribution when your clip is posted.

We don't encourage to include any individual's sensitive data (biometrics, etc.) into your clip; that being said, by doing so nevertheless, you have given us an informed consent to use and share that sensitive data to the extent permitted by applicable laws. By submitting a clip, you confirm that you have obtained any necessary permissions from individuals appearing in your video and that your submission complies with all applicable privacy and legal requirements.

11. Agreement

By submitting a clip, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved individually through final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
