aosu Video Submission Terms

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST. PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING SELECTED.

OFFERED ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.

Please read these Terms before entering the aosu UGC Video Submission Contest (the "Contest"). By participating, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are independent of the aosu Terms of Use. If you also use the aosu website or purchase aosu products, the aosu Terms of Use separately apply to such use or purchase.

THIS CONTEST IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED, ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH GOOGLE LLC OR AMAZON.COM, INC.

1. Sponsor; Eligibility

Sponsor:aosu LIFE PTE. LTD.("aosu," "we," "us," or "our").

Eligibility:Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C., 18+. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and in-laws) of aosu and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, and their advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, are not eligible to participate. By entering, you represent that you meet all eligibility requirements. IF YOU DO NOT MEET ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS, OR ANY OTHER ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS IN THESE TERMS, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN A PRIZE.

2. Contest Period; How to Enter

The Contest begins on August 19, 2026 and ends on August 25, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received during the Contest Period.

One entry per person. Each entry must be submitted by the individual who created the Video Content. If multiple individuals share the same email address or device, only the authorized account holder is considered the entrant. Using multiple accounts or identities to submit entries is grounds for disqualification of all related entries.

Fraud and misrepresentation. aosu reserves the right to verify any entrant's identity and eligibility at any time. Entries containing false, misleading, or fabricated information, or submitted through bots, scripts, or other automated means, will be disqualified. aosu's decisions are final and binding.

3. Submission Guidelines

By submitting a video (including any video, images, sounds, and/or content, collectively, the "Submission" or "Video Content"), you agree that your Submission:

  • a. Is truthful, accurate, and not misleading;
  • b. Does not violate any third party rights (including copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights), contain defamatory or disparaging statements, depict illegal or dangerous behavior, or contain content that is obscene, hateful, or discriminatory;
  • c. Does not violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation;
  • d. If it depicts any individual, you have obtained written permission from each person appearing in the Submission to grant the rights described in these Terms, and will provide copies upon request;
  • e. Complies with the applicable terms of use of Google LLC.
  • f. must be original content created by you and may not be generated, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence tools.

aosu may remove any Submission or disqualify any entrant at its sole discretion.

4. Selection and Notification Process

This is a skill-based contest. Selection is based on merit, not chance. No random drawing will be used.

All eligible Submissions will be reviewed by aosu's selection panel based on criteria including content quality, creativity, relevance to the contest theme, and overall impact. Submissions will be scored and ranked. The top-ranked entries will be selected as winners, up to a maximum of 10. Selection is based on merit, not chance. No random selection method will be used at any stage.

Sponsor is not responsible for changes to Google LLC (or any website or mobile application offered as part of such services), that may interfere with the Contest or ability of a participant to timely enter or otherwise participate. Sponsor is not responsible for misspellings, typographical errors, or other issues that may affect the ability of Sponsor to locate a purported Submission. 

aosu's decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by email on September 1, 2026.

If a winner does not respond by September 30, 2026, the prize will be forfeited.

5. Prizes

To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in the manner and format designated in these Terms. 

Participation Reward: Each eligible participant who submits a qualifying Submission will receive a discount code for 17% off on [https://www.aosulife.com].

Selected Winners: Each selected winner will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card (valid for use on Amazon.com in the United States). Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions except at aosu's sole discretion.

ALL APPLICABLE TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. 

6. License to Submission

By submitting your Video Content, you grant to aosu a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, sub-licensable, transferable, royalty-free, and fully paid-up right and license to:

  • a. Use, copy, adapt, edit, modify, translate, dub, subtitle, truncate, composite, alter, remix, and create derivative works based upon the Video Content, in whole or in part, in any manner;
  • b. Distribute, transmit, stream, broadcast, publicly perform, display, publish, store, cache, license, sell, transfer, and otherwise exploit the Video Content through aosu's channels (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, aosulife.com, and other marketing channels);
  • c. Use the Video Content for promotional, marketing, advertising, and commercial purposes;
  • d. Use of Name, Likeness, etc.: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, entry into the Contest constitutes permission to use your name, likeness, and prize information, as well as the name(s), likeness(es) of any other individual(s) depicted in the Submission for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes, or any other purposes, without further permission or compensation.

You waive any right to inspect or approve the Video Content or any matter used in conjunction with it, and waive any right to royalties or compensation. aosu has the right to use, edit, modify, or exploit the Video Content in its sole discretion. aosu will have no obligation to publish, use, or retain any Submission.

7. Intellectual Property Warranties and Representations

You represent and warrant that:

  • a. Ownership: You own or control all rights in and to the Video Content, and have the full right and authority to grant the licenses set forth in these Terms.
  • b. Originality: The Video Content is original to you and does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any person or entity.
  • c. Third-party content: If the Video Content contains elements not owned by you (including music, sound effects, stock footage, images, or logos), you have obtained all necessary releases, licenses, and consents to permit use by aosu without additional compensation.
  • d. No confidential information: The Video Content does not contain information considered confidential or proprietary by you, your employer, or any third party.
  • e. Verification: aosu has the right to verify ownership and originality. Upon request, you must provide written copies of any release, license, or permission from third parties.

8. Indemnification; Infringement Liability

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless aosu and its affiliates (the "Indemnified Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • a. Any claim that your Video Content infringes, misappropriates, or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any third party;
  • b. Your breach of any representation, warranty, or obligation in these Terms, including the IP warranties in Section 7;
  • c. Any fraud, misrepresentation, or unlawful act by you in connection with the Contest;
  • d. Any claim by a third party (including any individual depicted in your Submission) arising out of your Submission or aosu's use thereof as permitted by these Terms.

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the Video Content you submit. If your Submission causes aosu to be subject to any claim of infringement or other legal action by a third party, you shall bear full responsibility for all resulting liabilities, damages, and costs incurred by aosu.

If aosu receives a notice of alleged infringement regarding your Submission, aosu reserves the right to immediately remove the Submission, disqualify you, and seek recovery of all damages and costs from you.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. This Contest collects personal information (name, email address, Video Content) through a Google Form for the purpose of administering the Contest, evaluating Submissions, and awarding prizes.

Use of Google Forms and Data Processing: This Contest uses Google Forms (a Google Workspace service) to collect participant information. Under applicable data protection laws:

  • Google LLC acts as a service provider (under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA) on behalf of aosu.
  • Google processes data solely on aosu's instructions, in accordance with Google's Data Processing Amendment.
  • aosu will retain Contest participant data for 6 months after the Contest concludes, unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact privacy@aosulife.com to exercise these rights.

If you do not agree with the processing of your personal information through Google Forms as described above, you should not participate in this Contest.

10. Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability

aosu and its respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners (collectively, the "Released Parties") are not responsible for: (a) late, lost, misrouted, or damaged entries; (b) technical, hardware, software, or network failures; (c) Contest disruptions or unauthorized human intervention.

By entering, you release the Released Parties from any liability arising out of or in connection with the Contest or any prize. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE SPONSOR OR THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING, NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF AOSU OR ITS AFFILIATES HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF AOSU AND ITS AFFILIATES (JOINTLY) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRIZE EXCEED $10. THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION WILL NOT EXCLUDE OR LIMIT LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PURCHASED FROM THE SPONSOR, OR FOR THE SPONSOR’ GROSS NEGLIGENCE, INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR FRAUD. 

11. General Conditions

aosu reserves the right to modify these Terms, or suspend or cancel the Contest, at its sole discretion. Entrants who violate these Terms or engage in conduct detrimental to the Contest are subject to disqualification. aosu's failure to enforce any term will not constitute a waiver. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Singapore, without reference to rules governing choice of law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Contest that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC) in accordance with the SIAC's arbitration rules then in effect. The seat of arbitration shall be in Singapore. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English. The arbitration award shall be final and binding on all parties.

YOU AND WE AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LITIGATION, ARBITRATION, OR MEDIATION, WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, COLLECTIVE, MASS, OR REPRESENTATIVE BASIS. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, CLASS OR MASS ARBITRATION, OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING OF ANY KIND RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR THESE TERMS.
